Role of information technology gives its strong impact in all areas of life and every area is affected in one way
or the other by information revolution, among those different areas one specific area is print media (News
Paper). Information technology has changed the entire system of organization. Many IT tools and technology are available today with the help of which we can not only improve the impact of paper over nation but are able to improve the relation among the level of employees among organization. This paper deals with the impact of information technology and tries to demonstrate the role of information technology to manage the knowledge management tool in paper Industry. The paper is conceptual and looks at the impact of Information technology tools on the product design, quality, production process, cost, marketing and research and development and analyses the perceived improvements in the processes.
