ABSTRACT:
In this work we present an automatic speech recognition system for Moroccan dialect mainly:Darija (Arab dialect) and Tamazight. Many approaches have been used to model the Arabic and Tamazight phonetic units. In this paper, we propose to use the hidden Markov model (HMM) for modeling these phonetic
units. Experimental results show that the proposed approach further improves the recognition.
