ABSTRACT:
Working in partnership with the London Borough of Greenwich Education Service, the University of Greenwich proposed in 2002 the development of a series of modules to foster pupils' independent study skills for progression to HE. This paper recommends a model for carrying out independent study skills work which may prove to be of interest to others working on university support of study skills development within an LEA (local education authority).
