CALL FOR PAPERS:
This special symposium is dedicated to how - using present day parlance - bottom-up and up-down models of complex systems can be related or reconciled. Furthermore, new developments in the sphere of language are presented. Particular emphasis is put on contributions from modern brain sciences and computational modelling ofself-organizing processes. It attempts to provide a frame for broad reflection of these results within Gstalt theory of science, psychology, philosophy, linguistics, and other disciplines.
