ABSTRACT:
Since Wertheimer's discovery of the phi phenomenon, the basic structure of movement perception, it has become evident that the perceptual system organizes percepts in structures based on spatial-temporal relatonships between the stimuli. I consider here some of the phenomena that produce an impression of movement in depth or stereokinetic phenomena.
