ABSTRACT:
The organizational effectiveness assessment methodology for higher education that was proposed by Cameron (1978) is the central theme of this article. The theoretical framework of the theme reveals the inexistence of consensus about the concept. For that reason, the study of this variable in a specific context involves the use of a 63 indicators that allow the evaluation of nine effectiveness criteria and can be grouped in three domains, namely, the academical domain, the external adaptation domain, and, the moral domain.
