ABSTRACT:
The purpose of the present study was to investigate pollution of various technological zones with ammonia and microorganisms. The study indicated that there were different levels of pollution in various technological zones of cattle houses. The highest intensity of ammonia emission was in the zones of manure and slurry handling (66.2-117.9 micrograms/cm2/h.) and the lowest in the zone of feed delivery (19.7 micrograms/cm2/h.). The air pollution with microorganisms was highest in animal standing places (93.29 – 312.63 thous./m3) than in other technological zones (24.15 – 182.88 thous./m3).
