ABSTRACT:
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the pollution of various technological zones with ammonia and microorganisms. The study indicated that there were different levels of pollution in various technological zones of cattle houses. The highest intensity of ammonia evaporation was in the zones of solid and liquid manure handling (66.2-117.9 micrograms/cm2/h) and the lowest in the zone of feed delivery (19.7 micrograms/cm2/h). The air pollution with microorganisms was higher in animal standing places (93.29-312.63 thous./m3) than in other technological zones (24.15-182.88 thous./m3).
