ABSTRACT:
The purpose of the work was to investigate a balance and waste of materials of biological origin such as phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium in a turkey house rearing turkeys for meat. It was an appreciable assimilation of nutrients from the feed and emission of nutrients from the manure. It was noticed that during 5-month turkey rearing for meat 0.389 kg of nitrogen was emitted into fresh manure. For the emission of ammonia in the turkey house the total waste of nitrogen was 24.6%.
