ABSTRACT:
The article reports on how to manage digital resources. Electronic resources have an impact on library workflows, staffing, and budgets. The electronic resources evolution in libraries has all of the characteristics of technological innovation. Some libraries that enjoy funding are early adopters while some are constantly struggling to keep up. Most libraries maintain a balance between what is the need and if they can afford such change. There is a need to have a more holistic view of electronic resources because the processes of acquisition, access provision, and evaluation are interrelated.
