Edward David Luft asks for help, but the reply by Eileen Polakoff only suggests avenues already researched or discounted. To be discharged in bankruptcy, one must have been alive on that date. The children and her previously deceased husband are buried in Cyprus Hills Cemetery. A 74-year-old woman did not remarry. The "other" Caroline Marks may have been the other known person of that name in Manhattan. From the court cases, Edward Luft knows that this is the correct Caroline Marks.
