Also in auditory field there are situations that can be compared to Gottschaldt figures, that is those figures characterized by the phenomenal disappearance of a visual structure into a more significant one. The acoustic example consists in the gruppetto that can become part of two trills by adding notes at the beginning and at the end of it.
