ABSTRACT:
Freshwater sponges are known from only handful localities in Rajasthan State. During a survey of wetlands of Eastern Rajasthan a freshwater sponge Eunapius carteri was collected from a lake in Keladevi Wildlife Sanctuary, Karauli which is first record of freshwater sponge for the sanctuary and Eastern Rajasthan.
