This chapter documents the analyses on the results of the Autumn 2006 survey of 100 practitioners with different roles and responsibilities across the higher education sector in the UK. The survey was designed to update the consultation with the higher education sector included in Report 1 of the Dearing Report (NCIHE, 1997b).
