DESCRIPTION:
This is a video,in DVD format, running 98 minutes with voice and music recordings by Dr. Leonard C. Silvern. It consists of one disk.
It is associated with Silvern's Memoirs, Chapter 39, listed elsewhere.
It covers a period during 1983. The images were photographed during the events by the author.
The author travelled to China visiting Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, Ban Po, Chengdu and Kunming. At Kunming he hiked on the eastern terminus of the Burma Road to the Kunming Gate but was unable to travel to Burma due to poor road conditions. Visit was made also to Hong Kong.
