SUMMARY:
The project Processes at the phases interface: mathematical modeling, numerical optimization, web implementation, with applications in separation and characterization of biological active chemical compounds series propose the integration of knowledge from experiment: thin layer chromatography, electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, in multi-parametric mathematical models, using as tool for parameters identifying the numerical optimization. The mathematical models intend to embed the mathematical equations which stays at the fundament of surface properties of liquids and the equations of distribution and repartition between phases. The numerical optimization intend to identify the parameters of the models: reaction or diffusion rates constants, reaction orders, and of parameters which results from them: distribution and repartition constants, extinction coefficients. Web implementation intends to transpose the parameterized mathematical models into web client-server applications published online which to allow the access of research results: experimental data, mathematical models, parameters of model type, and parameters of experiment type. The experimental part consists from: separation on thin layer of steroids (chemical compounds with anabolic activity), triazines electrophoresis (compounds with herbicidal activity), fast reaction of cooper and thiosulfate ions (lethal toxicity activity).
