ABSTRACT:
We describe the development and construct validity evidence pertinent to a measure of Theory X/Y attitudes and assumptions. Although 50 years have transpired since the initial publication of McGregor's landmark theory in 1957, no construct-valid instruments have been published that are in the public domain.
