ABSTRACT:
The reconstruction of past events is considered as essential in the concept of psychoanalytic
treatment. By examining the transference on the psychoanalyst material from the client’s past
that had been unconscious up to now should be discovered and analyzed. The intention of this
article is to show that - based on the life space construct of K. Lewin and the principle of present
factors being effective within psychotherapy - behaviour and experience of an individual can
only be described within his actual life space (the psychological field that includes the psychological
past). A change during psychotherapy can only be effected by comprehending and
understanding of the events actually having an effect on the client in the present situation.
Zusammenfassung:
Im psychoanalytischen Behandlungskonzept wird die Bedeutung der Rekonstruktion vergangener
Ereignisse als wesentlich betont. Durch die Bearbeitung der Übertragung auf den
Psychoanalytiker soll unbewusstes Material aus der Vergangenheit des Klienten aufgedeckt
und bearbeitet werden. In diesem Beitrag soll in Anlehnung an Lewins Lebensraumkonstrukt
und an das Prinzip „Gegenwärtigkeit“ der in der Therapie wirkenden Faktoren aufgezeigt werden,
dass Verhalten und Erleben eines Individuums ausschließlich durch den gegenwärtigen
Lebensraum (das psychologische Feld, zu dem auch die psychologische Vergangenheit gehört)
angemessen beschrieben werden können. Veränderungen in der Therapie können demnach nur
durch Verständnis und Einsicht in gegenwärtig wirkende Ereignisse erzielt werden.
