ABSTRACT:
This paper was given in the presence of Manju Kapur at the
seminar 'La morada de la paz: conversaciones entre India y Europa', held at the University of Córdoba on 13 June 2006. The event also included a question-and-answer session between the author and Manju, and a reading of extracts from her novels 'Difficult Daughters' and 'A Married Woman', by Manju in the original and by the author in the Spanish translations by Dora Sales Salvador.
**
The paper summarises and analyses the work of Manju Kapur so far, covering her 3 novels 'Difficult Daughters', 'A Married Woman' and 'Home'.
