ABSTRACT:
A letter transcribed into a commonbook reveals that in 1866 there was general disatisfaction in the Crimea with the sumptuous production of the Karaite prayer book that was printed in Vienna in 1854. A close examination of the prayer book showed that a single leaf tipped in changed matters and satisfied the Crimeans.
