ABSTRACT:
The increasing need of legal certainty, and the endless inflating amount of legal texts, are leading to a revamping of the law-making process (légistique : the art and/or the science of building laws). Are the new technologies able to bring anything to the construction of acts or regulations ? Legal informatics, databases, expert systems have doubtless allowed some huge evolutions in several parts of Law science. But, it doesn’t seem to be so efficient for the law-making process. However, experiments are numerous in France and abroad : results are not those that could be awaited or hoped.
