In this book Galileo tries to prove that the earth is not the center of the world, but the sun. the book was written as a Dialog between three persons one represents Galileo, the other represents Aristotle and the thirsd is neutral.
The Book is originally a German translation of the italian Book by Emil Strauss. The new EDition contains two articles madeby Einstein and Stelman Drake. THe details of Galileo's trial and process are given. A short itroduction written by the arabic translator is given. The Book falls in three parts published separately in around 900 pages.
