ABSTRACT:
This review examined the relationships among intelligence, personality and creativity. The concept and definition of creativity was considered, in conjunction with the qualifications suggested by researchers in the field. Reference was made briefly to historiometric studies, but focused on psychometric intelligence and the relationship to tests of divergent thinking (DT) in addition to ratings of creativity. The relationship between personality and creativity was considered within the context of Eysenkian three factor and Five Factor Models of personality, again with reference to DT tests and ratings of creativity. Recommendations for the future study of creativity were presented.
