ABSTRACT:
Discussing recent developments in the field of psychotherapy "psychotherapy of the future" and the "future of psychotherapy" are reflected. The most important task will be to overcome dualisms and disunities: body/mind, individual/society but also antagonisms and polarizations e.g. between professions doctors/psychologists, between schools and approaches of approved methods and not-approved methods, e.g. psychoanalysis/Rogerian client centered psychotherapy etc. It will be necessary to find and to build "common ground", "unity in diversity" in an all encompassing profession and discipline and in the cooperation with our partners, the patients and clients.
