Iran: cultural-historical tradition and the dynamics of development.

Conference is organized by the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow (RSUH) (Office of Iranic studies of RSUH of the Chair of eastern languages, Chair of politology and jurisprudence, Center of Globalisation and Comparativistics of the Institute of Philology and History of RGGU) together with the Cultural Center of cultural of the embassy of IRI in Moscow.

RSUH, 14-15 February 2006.

The basic tasks of the conference: It is planned to discuss two basic problems:

. The state of сontemporary Iranic studies as interdisciplinary scientific discipline
. consideration and the discussion about the problems of contemporary state, tendencies and dynamics of development IRI in the beginning of the XXI century.

It is originally decided to make a disciplinary range of conference as wide as possible due to the attraction to the participation in the work of the conference of specialists in different the fields of the Iranic studies. We will intend to draw to the work in the conference not only specialists of Iranic studies, but also specialists of adjacent regions, to which is close the problems of conference.

The organization committee of conference will proposals on the organization of the panels, not later than 15 September 2005. Order for the organization of section it must include the substantiation of the panel (not more than 500 words) in the Russian, or English, the indication of surname, name, patronymic, scientific degree, academic rank, place of work, post, post and e-mail, numbers of telephone and fax. The author of order must report names, places of work and e-mails not less than of two colleagues, ready to participate in the work of the proposed section. Organizational committee will report the results of examining the order for the organization of the panels until 15 October 2005. The selection of orders will be produced on the competitive basis.

We request to direct some abstracts (in the electronic form in Russian or in English) (to 1,5 pages) until 15 October 2005, to e-mail: pbasharin@yandex.ru or basharin@front.ru. The following requirements must be observed with the formulation of abstracts: Type - Times New Roman, 12, 1.5 interlinear interval. Bibliography must not exceed seven names. References to the bibliography in the text must be given by numeration in the brackets: [1], [2]. Bibliography is placed at the end of the text and is separated by empty line.
