English version of a text by Carla Vanessa Gonzáles, originally given as a paper, in Spanish, at the symposium 'Poéticas del siglo XX' ('Twentieth-century Poetics') held from 20 to 23 October 1998 at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Lima, Peru). The author defends the status as poetry of Bob Dylan's song lyrics on theoretical and practical-critical grounds. Original title: 'Bob Dylan: una poética de trasgresión'.
