ABSTRACT:

This is thirteenth in the ETC system series and is recommended for individual or group utilization. It is based on the LOGOS flowchart modeling language which appears in I, VI, and X of the series and in professional journals.

This slide-tape presentation explains how problems are obtained from real-life environments and used to synthesize alternative solutions by using the model. Then the real-life problems are employed to simulate on the model so it can be tested and debugged.

Next, this improved model is used for problem-solving. Finally, feedback from the simulation experience is sent back to the original subsystem where changes occur and new, better models can be produced.

This is a cybernetic, closed-loop, flowchart model incorporating four feedback signal paths and 20 minutes of magnetic tape narrated by Dr. Silvern. It is non-mathematical and does not require engineering or scientific knowledge for comprehension.
