This multi-media set is eleventh in the system series designed for both individua1ized and group instruction. Consisting of 18 35mm color slides and 10-min pre-recorded tape, it teaches the birth, life and death of a system.
The presentation describes conceptualization of a system, fabrication of a prototype, simulation, evaluation of the prototype, fabrication of the system, maintenance and ultimate elimination of the system. Feedback to control design and system operation is emphasized.
This presentation was produced originally for ETC's DESIGNING EDUCATION AND TRAINING SYSTEMS course. It has been adopted for system presessions of the American Educational Research Association and for system courses conducted at universities in the U.S. and abroad.
