ABSTRACT:
Morinda citrifolia L. (Rubiaceae), commonly known as "Noni", is sold for various nutritional and health benefits. In the present study, the combination of headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is used for the first time to evaluate commercial Noni juices. The analysis results are compared using multivariate data analysis (Principal Component Analysis).
