ABSTRACT:
The aim of my paper is to present how rich English vocabulary is due to those peoples who left most significant marks on the language, and another aim is to give a representative study on the occurrence of foreign plural forms in news register. In this thesis, on the one hand, I will give a full picture of noun categorizations through many examples which based on the most relevant studies written by English, American and Hungarian linguists and on the other hand, I will present the results of my research on those nouns which preserved their original plural forms in National Geographic.
