ABSTRACT:
: Melanographia flexilineata Hampson is the major insect of loguat and usually results in great disaster. By statistical means, this paper analyzes the control effects of four pesticides on Melanographia flexilineata Hampson. The results indicated that the pesticides can be classified into two categories: the first is long-lethal-time abamectin and benzoy iphenyi ureas, the second is short-lethal-time fenvalerate and trichlorphon. We suggested that the first category should be used for fear that the pest would be pesticide resistant.
