ABSTRACT:
This study examines the application of the CETSCALE to consumers in Lithuania, viewed as a critical first step in using the scale for future research. An empirical study of Lithuanian consumers revealed strong correlations between ethnocentrism and demographic variables, and a high ethnocentrism score for Lithuanians in general. Although prior research has revealed that ethnocentrism goes hand in hand with patriotism, this relationship in Lithuania was not as strong as expected.
