ABSTRACT:
Matthew Maibaum has made some suggestions for a taxonomy of psychiatric disorders within the framwork of the field theory of Kurt Lewin. These suggestions are summarized in German language, followed by a discussion of a preliminary question for such an endeavor: Can the construction of a taxonomy of psychiatric disorders and mental health problems be compatible with Kurt Lewin's call for adopting the Galileian instead of the Aristotelian mode of thought?
