ABSTRACT:
This paper provides a brief review of Peter Lynds' paper "Time and Classical and Quantum Mechanics: Indeterminacy vs Discontinuity" and analyzes some of the ontological and epistemological implications as well as the implications for the modeling of dynamical systems. In particular it addresses a number of theories and hypoetheses put forth by Stephen Hawking regarding the nature of time, space-time and quantum field theory.
