ABSTRACT:
In this paper plant compensation and induced plant resistance after herbivory stress are reviewed. And appearances, influencing factors and the mechanism of both adaptive responses are analyzed. Then problems and the future are briefly introduced. Finally, the possible relationship between plant compensation and induced plant resistance to pests is given.
