ABSTRACT:
The book argues in favor of FRG Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer's model of an enlarged Europe, based on a federal system of democracy. A large body of politometric evidence is presented which shows that the present European Union institutions are unable to guarantee Europe the fulfillment of the Lisbon criteria.
