In an April 14, 2000 letter to Project RACE supporters, Susan Graham, Executive Director of Project RACE, Inc. answered concerns from members regarding the future of the "multiracial" movement in America. In her diatribe she stated "some members of the multiracial community met on March 31 and decided to abandon the multiracial movement."
