ABSTRACT:

Excerpts
“The personal-scanning cabin was small yet pleasant, with a sort of smoothing, calming atmosphere. Soft colours and a settled, nice flowery fragrance, like roses, filled the 2 x 2 m. cabin. […] ”Welcome to the European High-Speed Link System. This is a high-security scanning area. You will be now leaving the Free-city of Berlin and entering the European Union. This process will take from 3 to 5 minutes.”

Abhittipura
Pura (Sanskrit) = City. (‘City without walls’)
Abhitti (Sanskrit) = No walls, having no walls

Synopsis
The year is 2030 and the European Union has for a long time massively implemented strict electronic monitoring regulations, which control both the identity and movements of its Citizens. The city of Berlin, in reaction to such draconic regulations and to the dissappearance of the former German State refused to become another City-Company. Thus, it has become The Freie-Stadt Berlin, where “Free-Citizens” can live unmonitored and in complete anonymity. In response to this, the EU has imposed a new electronic “Berlin Wall” around it. Meanwhile IDENTI*-Park, the corporation that gained its name from creating the unique concept of a “Urban Entertainment” Theme-Park -based on the premises of a parallel identity (a whole section of a city where you can become someone else) - has expanded globally by spreading its “City-Resorts” worldwide. A-Kenn, a citizen of the Freie-Stadt Berlin, is a free-spirited, talented, Net-Interface Designer and finds himself at a crossroad, when the most important person in his life leaves only to disappear in one of IDENTI*-Park‘s City-Resorts...
