ABSTRACT:
Occupational health is a field within public health devoted to the prevention of occupational disease and injury. Public health professionals and others with responsibility or interest in controlling or eliminating occupational disease and injury need appropriate tools to act effectively. Prevention depends on four fundamental tasks: 1)anticipation; 2)surveillance; 3)analysis of collected data; and 4) control. This book provides information useful for the performance of these tasks.
