ABSTRACT:
This is the full academic and regularly updated website of Arno Tausch, adjunct professor of political science at Innsbruck University. Due to limitations of computer space, only a very short website entry is available from my alma mater, Innsbruck University.

For available book publications: http://www.campusi.com/

Further bibliographical details are available in the full academic CV, including academic publications, references for librarians, reception of works (in scholarly journals, international book publications, major academic websites, publications by International Organizations), Habilitation degree and academic teaching on the world system, 1977 to the present , reception of works in class-rooms around the world.

As I stated in "Global capitalism, Liberation Theology and the Social Sciences" (paperback edition, 1999), which I consider to be my politically most important work, the "Walls have gone, but poverty and social polarization spread". The "preferential option" for the poor is the essence of my scientific researching and publishing since 1972. I understand this option in the framework of an ecumenical vision of dialogue about world systems theory across creeds and cultures. I dedicate this website to the students and activists of non-violent change around the globe.

Let this website also be a tribute to the political and scientific work that the United Nations perform - as a voice of reason and of unity of human kind.
