ABSTRACT:
Building on the seminal work of Hinrichs (1969), it was found that: (1) Weber's Law is an inadequate explanation of pay evaluations; (2) individual difference variables moderate Weber fractions; (3) women did not expect less than men (they actually expected more); and (4) inflation increased evaluation thresholds.
