ABSTRACT:
The effects of performance appraisal (along with performance feedback and goal setting) were compare using: behavioral observation scales (BOS) and graphic rating scales (GRS). As hypothesized, the BOS format yielded significantly more goals being set, and significantly higher
levels of goal clarity, accptance, and commitment.
