ABSTRACT:
Deans in six fields of graduate study described the value profile of an ideal masters student. It was found that value categories from the Allport-Vernon-Lindzey Study of Values yielded differing value profiles across fields of study; the other value measures generally yielded the same profiles across varying fields of study.
