ABSTRACT:
Many of the 17 papers of this volume are devoted to theoretical explication of the central role of institutional analysis in the field of socio- economics; several of the papers are by Hollingsworth (sociology and history, U. of Wisconsin). Other topics include market institutions as forces of change, the impact of globalization on the German economy, worker cooperatives in Israel, and the historical roots of globalization in American institutions.
