ABSTRACT:
In this paper,the preliminary list of host- plants of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard
and L. huidobrensis(Blanchard) in the suburb of Fuzhou is respectively recorded,based on the
investigations. It is found that L. sativae can feed on the plants of2 0 families with85species,
and L. huidobrensis can feed on the plants of2 0 families with73species. The major vegetable,
flower and weed host- plants are discussed. The agricultural control methods of intercrop and
cleaning the weeds are proposed. The Liriomyza species are very adaptive and the range oftheir
hosts is gradually expanded. Their dynamics should be considered seriously.
