ABSTRACT:
The results of this study indicated that respondents differed on satisfaction with, and importance of, venue characteristics (overall venue cleanliness, concessions, parking, usher behavior, restrooms, audio experience) at intercollegiate basketball games based on team gender and spectator gender. Results also indicated that product satisfaction for the whole sample explained 18% of the variance in future sport consumption behavior while satisfaction with venue aspects added only an additional 5%. Implications and applications of these findings in relation to sport management strategies are presented.
