EDITORIAL STATEMENT:
The International Journal of Sport Management seeks to serve the profession of sport and recreation management and athletic administration. Its national/international scope and the breadth of its articles will represent the complete spectrum of all areas of sport and recreation management and athletic administration. This journal will provide an opportunity for professionals (scholars as well as practitioners) to contribute to the body of knowledge relating to sport, recreation, competitive athletics as well as fitness and wellness programs. The journal will also enable these same professionals as well as students to remain at the cutting edge of the profession of sport management by serving as a source of up-to-date and meaningful information pertaining to the discipline.
