ABSTRACT:
Ausits and evaluations can be useful in improving EIAs and environmental management generally. More projects that have already been completed should be evaluated and audits of future projects should be undertaken as a matter of routine.
This report summarizes research drawn from 10 hindsight evaluations of EIAs in Canada, and other studies.
