ABSTRACT:
A commentary on B.K. Burton and C.P. Dunn's "Feminist Ethics as Moral Grounding for Stakeholder Theory" and on J. Dobson's "The Feminine Firm: A Comment," both of which appeared in Business Ethics Quarterly, vol. 6, no. 2, April 1996, pp. 133-48 and pp. 227-33, respectively. The articles raise important issues concerning the perceived relevance and potential contribution of feminist thought to the area of business ethics research. These issues are examined in detail.
