ABSTRACT:
In this paper the significance of physical culture in the People's Republic of China is historically examined. From a view of play as frivolous it has become central to official efforts to resocialize the popular value structure and attitudes toward nationalism, socialism, internationalism, military strength, and egalitarianism. Particularly through the devices of modeling and contrast, the citizenry is oriented to the new values deemed necessary to vault China into the modern era. Analysed discrimination in American college football and the way in which it is moving, toward equality or away from it. Examined stacking, and unequal opportunity and found that racism still exists.
